Terms of service
Last updated: 20 October 2026
Draft: this text will be reviewed by a lawyer before the app is released.
1. The service
Convivio (the “app”) lets you create a room with a code and play group games on your own phone or in the browser. The service is provided by [provider: to be completed]. By using the app you accept these terms and the privacy policy.
2. Who can use it
The app is for people aged 18 and over. On first launch you declare that you are at least 18: a false declaration is a breach of these terms.
3. Profile and account
A nickname is all you need to play. You can link an email, Google or Apple account to find your profile on other devices. You are responsible for what happens with your profile, and you can delete it at any time in the settings.
4. Behaviour
- Do not use nicknames that are offensive, impersonate other people or break the law.
- Do not try to get around the game rules, the app's checks or the security of the service.
- The host of a room can remove a player, who cannot rejoin the same game night.
We may suspend or delete profiles that breach these terms.
5. No money
The games are free and points have no economic value: you cannot place bets, win prizes or exchange points for money or goods.
6. Ads
The mobile app may show ads, only between games and never during a match. Personalised ads only appear with your consent.
7. Content
Names, artwork, rules and content of the games are original and belong to Convivio or their respective owners. You may not copy or distribute them outside your personal use of the app.
8. Availability and liability
We do our best to keep the app working well, but we cannot guarantee that it is always available or free of errors. To the extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect damages arising from the use of the app; this does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. We will tell you about important changes in the app before they take effect.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by Italian law. For disputes with consumers, the courts of the consumer's place of residence have jurisdiction.
